Oh my god, I am such a slacker

Hi Everybody! I have been slaving away on school and I haven't posted anything of any substance in forever! Well, you're patience has paid off, included is my favorite pieces from my classes this semester. These are all from my Analysis of Form class, (my other class was Creative Writing) and are charcoal or pen.
I really enjoyed both classes this year, working with charcoal was nerve-wracking. I kept worrying that I would mess it up. In the end tho, I would be tired and happy.

My Summer Project

Wow, two in one day! This next one is a quick sketch I did at work as a concept pic. This grumpy fella is going to be the main character in my new comic project that I will start this summer. Once I finish the intro for Grym Tidings, which I'm still working on, and there isn't actually all that much left to go. Enjoy!

PS-I've added a few more sketches of the character for updates, and I've started writing this out as well.

School work

I'm back!

Hello Everybody! I'm back finally, school's over, I got straight A's, and I'm back to post the latest. I will post some interesting stuff from Class (Color & Design) as well, so that will be coming up soon as well. In the meantime, here is a recent commission for my young nephew Matt. He requested a fight scene between a Jedi with a dual-bladed lightsaber, Darth Vader, and a giant, cake-making droid. Without further ado...

Well, I'm finally posting something again! I'm still overloaded, and digging, but the least I can do is drop something for y'all to look at. Here is the pencils for page 4 of my Grym Tidings WoW comic. I'm just starting the inks so hopefully I will finish that soon inbetween my school and freelance.

Sorry everybody! I've been overloaded with my job and school and freelance, that I haven't had a chance to even think about posting anything, let alone creating for enjoyment. I did finish the pencils for page 4 of Grym Tidings, so I will have something to show soon enough. Maybe I will post that here, along with page 3, and save the other site for the finished pages. New Illustration from Work

Hi all, I've been busy plugging away with my freelance project(will post examples after I've finished) and my comic, as well as starting school last week! To my surprise, my day job produced the most interesting work of the past week! I was given a job to produce a full color sponsor ad for a charity ball and they asked for one of our run of the mill photo ads with the logo and a blurb about how supportive we are, and I had an idea for something more. Well, here's the illo alone, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to reproduce the complete ad, but there is some fancy cursive text in the upper right, with the logos just beneath, in white.

I've always had a fondness for the Scandinavian Stave Churches so we decided to visit the oldest existing church up here in Norway. Strange, even tho it had already snowed in Switzerland, we enjoyed a wonderful spring-like atmosphere in Norway. Go figure. Anyhoo, here's the sketch!!

Boy oh boy, I sure love jetting off to new locales for sketch inspiration! Instead of Marseilles I decided to hop over to Switzerland for my latest subject. Look! It snowed there! Where will I go today?? Perhaps the Far East, Scandinavia? hmm...

Visit to Paris

Hi all, on a recent "visit" to the city of lights, I paused to make this marker sketch of a caberet in Montmartre. spent about a half an hour there, then moved on. Tomorrow, I'll download a picture of Marseille and sketch... uh oh. Well, enjoy!
