Here's this week's painting. It's intended to be a casual "found" subject, so I found this on the floor of my closet! These are two old hats of mine and my flip flops.

Man oh man, I've been painting like a mad man. No, I mean literally, someone is going to look at the life I'm leading and say "Has he gone mad???" While clutching his bowler hat in fear and revulsion. Anyway, enough corn, let's get to the paintings! We've got a Cloth/Drapery study, and a large Birds Eye view.

This Week's Painting

Here it is! I did this one for my wife and the boys, it has their initials in it and I think we will put it in the baby's room when the semester's over. I think this is my favorite to this point.

Paintings: The Squeakquel

Well, this week I wrapped up my "Candle Period" and my "Maroon Period" in one shot. The former because I ran out of candles to paint, and the latter because my wife wants her maroon drape back for the dining room. Anyhoo, presenting the Week 7 exercise, "Silver Shiny Object"(the one with the bottles) and Homework #2, representing weeks 5-7(Clear, Shiny Copper/Bronze, Shiny Silver).
